What is Circus Camp all about?
Circus Camp is a day-camp experience introducing children to circus, performing, and visual arts in a safe and noncompetitive environment. Camper age begins at 5 years old and includes teens. Any level of physical development & skill is welcomed.
As a member of the AYCO (American Youth Circus Organization), USAG (United States of America Gymnastics) and ISERA (International Special Events & Recreation Association), we provide campers with the opportunity to learn something new and exciting every day, while developing their unique skills.
Circus Camp began in 1992 by our Fearless Flying Founder Carrie Heller. Her inspiration and vision is what makes this camp such an amazing experience for thousands of children every year.

What is your refund policy?
Refund policy: At Circus Camp we work throughout the year preparing the best summer camp experience for your children, teaching weekend classes, hosting birthday parties, managing festival attractions, and more.
As a small family-run business, we hire staff, rent venues, purchase & maintain equipment, and many other expenses based upon registrations and deposits we receive. Therefore we can’t issue refunds for deposits, tuitions, before/after care or t-shirts.
However we do understand the uncertainty surrounding us all, so we are happy to provide a credit at CircusCamp.org to use towards future circus fun including birthday parties.
What type of clothing should my child wear to camp?
First and foremost... CAMPERS MUST WEAR FACES MASKS!
Comfortable clothing such as shorts and t-shirts or leotards are best. Tennis shoes are encouraged. Sandals are also good, unless your child is interested in trying the unicycle class, where closed-toe shoes are required. Due to size limitations, the unicycle class is usually for children aged 8 and above.
Circus Camp is all about encouraging your child's imagination, so if they want to wear silly clothes, they can wear silly clothes!
We do have a very strict rule about hats... No sharing hats.
Should I pack a lunch for my child?
Yes, please have your child bring their lunch.
Our Sandy Springs camp at the Epstein School is a meat-free school. Dairy, cheese, yogurt, fish, eggs, and plant based foods (such as salads) are allowed.
We have a strict No Sharing Food policy to help avoid any food allergy issues. If your child does have a food allergy, make sure to mention it when you register.
Also note the severity. For instance, many times children with peanut allergies can be in the same room as long as they do not come into contact with peanut products. If they cannot be in the same room definitely tell us so we can accommodate.

How can I work at Circus Camp?
Run Away with Our Circus
Circus Camp welcomes qualified applicants who love working with children & love having fun! Any circus arts and variety skills can be useful but not required: drama, mime, clown, juggling, poi, dance, art, hand balancing, magic, puppetry and of course trapeze and web.
On-the-job training for teens!
Our CIT (Counselors in Training) program for teens age 13 and up. No experience is necessary, just an interest in playing and helping. CIT's learn the fundamentals of child supervision and staff responsibilities while participating in activities.
